Welcome friends! I suspect if you found this blog, I need no introduction. You likely know me and my band of crazies already. But just to fill in the basic cast of characters (names of children changed to protect the innocent’ish):
- I’m Shelly – Recovering attorney, mom of boys, caretaker of all under my roof, and adoring wife of Sam
- Sam – Law School professor, tax law speaker, crossword constructor, and all around great guy.
- D – 19 year old son and 2020 high school graduate, starting with Americorp later Summer of 2020.
- J – 15 year old son, currently at a Ranch in Utah, taking care of calves, learning to ride horses, and figuring out life. (Maybe he’ll teach me those things when he comes home!)
- E – J’s longtime friend from school who came on the “big trip” with us.
- Patty – crazy 3 year old boxer mix dog. She looks and acts like a leggy version of the dog in the old Mighty Dog commercials.
- Lacey – Also crazy 12’ish year old border collie mix dog.
- Norm II – J’s beta fish.
